A lot of our customers feel free to voice their requests or suggestions for improving our software, and we love that! Here are three new features ConsignCloud’s engineering team has been working on that our customers specifically requested. We’ve just recently released them and we hope you’ll find some use for them!
Put an item under the wrong account? New features for moving items!
We all do it sometimes. Items just get put under the wrong consignor account, and you need to move them (10, 20, maybe 50 of them) from one account to another. Doing this one at a time is really time consuming.Thankfully, we’ve just built the ability to move items from one account to another, and you can do it for as many items at a time as you like. Just go to Inventory > All Items, check the items you’d like moved, and then click the “Bulk Actions” dropdown on the right. You’ll see “Move to” (avoid “Delete”, it’s a moderately scary thing to click accidentally), and you’ll be able to search for the consignor and select the right one!
Have a Zebra printer? Hook it up!
ConsignCloud doesn’t only support DYMO label writers anymore. We also give support for certain Zebra thermal label printers as well. After testing it out on a couple clients, we’re releasing this feature to the public in Beta. You can go to Settings > Store Settings > Software Settings to turn it on. Once there, visit “Zebra Printer Settings” to get things tested and going. We partner with PrintNode.com to allow our users to print to a Zebra printer from any computer anywhere. To get this integrator account set up, you’ll need to contact our fantastic customer support team. Or you can visit our Zebra setup article at our new knowledge base! Speaking of which…
Need a detailed list of steps? Check out the ConsignCloud knowledge base!
We’ve just implemented a new knowledge base, located at docs.consigncloud.com. In case you can’t remember that link, there’s also a link to it right inside ConsignCloud at the top. It’s getting new articles all the time, so if you don’t find the one you’re looking for, feel free to pop us a note and let us know! If you have issues with your hardware or are wondering how to rotate your inventory, it’s probably the place to go!
